SAFG (Next Gen Digi Store) is a Kerala-based electronics retail brand that offers a wide range of smartphones, laptops, accessories, and home appliances. Known for competitive pricing, fast EMI options, and reliable after-sales service, SAFG has built a strong offline presence and customer base. With the growing demand for online shopping, the brand aimed to extend its reach by launching a full-featured eCommerce website that would reflect its identity and support modern shopping habits
The primary goal was to establish a professional and trustworthy digital presence that aligns with Kurian’s strong offline reputation. The website needed to make it easy for users to explore products, locate physical stores, and connect with the brand for inquiries or appointments. It was essential that the design be fully responsive, mobile-friendly, and ready to support potential future enhancements such as eCommerce integration or online booking systems.The primary objective was to build a clean, scalable, and user-friendly online store that showcases SAFG’s wide product catalog while maintaining a smooth shopping experience across all devices. The website needed to highlight key offerings such as easy EMI plans, branded product collections, and reliable after-sales service. It also had to support ongoing promotions, multilingual marketing (especially Malayalam), and local trust-building elements. Most importantly, the platform needed to guide users toward placing orders or inquiries directly via WhatsApp — the brand’s preferred communication and sales channel.
One of the major challenges was organizing and displaying a large inventory of products — including phones, laptops, accessories, and home gadgets — without cluttering the interface or confusing the user. Another key challenge was developing a conversion path without using a standard eCommerce cart or payment gateway. Since SAFG processes all product inquiries and orders through WhatsApp, the site needed to serve as a catalog-style storefront while still driving conversions. Communicating SAFG’s unique offline strengths — such as local service, EMI, and warranty options — also required thoughtful design and placement.
We designed a fully responsive eCommerce platform with a modern UI that mirrors SAFG’s offline trust and product variety. The homepage was structured to highlight major categories, current offers, and top-selling products, while also including sections for customer services and EMI benefits. Each product page includes a detailed description, specifications table, variant selection, and a prominently placed “Message on WhatsApp” button for direct communication. This approach allowed the website to act as a high-conversion product catalog, while preserving the brand’s personal sales model. A clean filter and category system was implemented to improve navigation, and localized banners in Malayalam were included for better regional engagement. The website was optimized for performance and mobile use to support fast, seamless browsing.
The new website successfully gave SAFG a strong digital presence without disrupting its core business model. Customers can now browse products, compare features, and initiate purchases easily via WhatsApp — improving both engagement and sales conversion rates. The platform has enhanced the brand’s credibility, reduced customer confusion, and provided a consistent space to run campaigns, showcase top brands, and deliver service information. With this system in place, SAFG continues to grow both online and offline, while maintaining the personal sales experience its local audience prefers.
